My latest addition to what I hope would end up as a collection of portraits!
The idea came up after getting this really cool Marvel Legends Icon Series Dr. Doom figure for 50% off at ToysR'Us. Besides, I always liked the character.
Anyway, I know my version of Doom's real face is inaccurate. I've seen earlier artworks and a bust without a mask, revealing that his face almost looks like Al Simmons' (Mc Farlane's "Spawn"). I thought of leaving some features that would give us an idea how handsome a man he was.
I still have some characters lined up for this "series", but I may not be able to update soon. I'm happy to tell you guys that I'm currently working on some character designs for a creator-owned project I'll be doing with a DC Comics writer. Please help me pray that we get a publisher's nod! Thanks!

I'm confused. Sometimes he looks like he's disfigured under the mask, sometimes he looks like he's just got a tiny scar and he's obsessive. Which one is true? I don't know the character well....
....but if he -is- disfigured, this is the best concept about his disfigurement ever. I love how it seems to bring a physical connection to his armour, instead of being something he just happens to wear.

hey, I may not have a million hits yet, but tell you what, I'm just as happy with how much i'm getting. And besides, getting less than 7k hits so far matters a lot already, eapecially if that 7k includes hits from people who REALLY matter!

Just today, after 2 days of internet sabbatical to focus on work, I opened my email and ---- I got 2 pencilling job offers from 2 big comic companies in the US! And they're offering me books to work on right after seeing my gallery here!God bless DA!

Nope it's not too much, Your penciling skills actually rival 's and I still find it hard to believe that a comic artist of your caliber remains to be unrecognized in deviant art!!( other than the 2 big companies)

Man, it better get picked up. The fact that you aren't doing a monthly comic is insane. I swear to you that I am not blowing smoke up your ass when I say that your stuff is more appealling than most of what is being pushed through Marvel and DC. I am not a fan of the styles they are pushing at all, on the whole.
As far as the pic goes, I like it, kinda gives a two face vibe a lil bit. Just enough handsome to drive him crazy.
