As the title states, this is a tribute to one of my favorite actresses, Shirley Temple. I have seen all of Shirley's movies and have loved her since I was a very little girl. I will always cherish the memories of watching "Heidi" and "The Little Princess" on Sunday mornings. She will always be one of my favorite child actresses. I was terribly upset when I found out that she had passed away, at the age of 85, just about three weeks ago, on February 10th.
On another note I thought that this would be the perfect time to try drawing people and do a tribute to Shirley Temple. Considering that this is my first portrait of anyone I'm extremely happy with how it turned out!
I would also like to shout out to for not only inspiring me to try drawing people, but also for encouraging me and giving me several much appreciated tips.
