It's unfortunate that there isn't much fanart of the Rahxephon series.
I like this series because the main character is an artfully inclined person! He paints and sketches, and he's quite good at it too! ^^ Hahah well, no that's not the only thing that appeals to me.. it's a good drama series too, with a splash of giant robots thrown in. I was crosshatching Ayato with Photoshop's brush tool, it's a very fun and relaxing process. Thought I'd try my hand at drawing him in a more realistic style. Ayato's sketching Reika(again), silly boy is always so obsessed with her. X)
This is a revamp of an old sketch I made last year, I've put it into scraps. [link]
...Seems I draw more fanart when I'm under stress from schoolwork and due dates...

I've seen a few people mention this anime, but, I've never really heard much of it. I like Mecha that is in style (storyline) of Eureka 7, does RahXephoncome close or not?

in story it is quite close to Evangelion, but the styling of Rahxephon is quite unique on its own. I like Ayato the main boy more than I do Shinji too haha. I highly recommend Rahxephon!

I recently got the series and this is simply...there's no way to put it really. Is Wow appropriate? I don't think it is, but I'm using it anyway, because I don't think there is an appropriate word yet.

Such a great anime, I FINALLY finished it, I've got to finish the movie and the OVA about Quon...was weird. O_O lol But a very very good anime.

Not to mention there's a beautiful love story in RahXephon too. Which makes it absolutely PERFECT! Yes, I'm a big fan for RahXephon. The art is brilliant & so is the storyline, but what I like even more is that your art brings a lot of emotion back from the series without having it look EXACTLY the same style as the art from the series. It's very emotional, beautiful & wonderful! What more can I say? I love this piece!!

Yeah I know what you mean about drawing fanart when it comes to being stressed about duedates. I've been trying to get something done for the RSoM and can't. Every time I sit down to draw for it I end up drawing fanart. That or nothing at all (I end up staring blankly at the tv).
I might actually watch the series, maybe.

Hahaha i watched Rah xephon too.. but i dun really understand whats really going on @__@ The last part totally threw me upside down.. lol ~

Ayato was alright.. my fav. episode was where the 3 kids, Itsuki, Makoto and Helena were in this "boarding house"... Itsuki was so cute!!

I've watched until about episode 16 or so, haven't gotten the rest of them yet. ^^ To me Rahxephon is like a spinoff of Eva.. the two are so similiar! X3 Although to me Rah is more like a big complicated love drama with a giant robot chucked in for the guys.

Yeah... i like that 3 episodes. I cant believe teh long silevr haired kid was Makoto... He was so pure and naive at that time... whatever happened to him!! @____@ And yeah... its creepy.. the mud doll they have in the "cave". Yet i find their actions is just so beautiful.. they dont fidn it strange.. they are just treating it like a normal pet... like kids sneaking in a puppy or kitten...

The dvd release of Rah here is soooo sloooow... I started collecting the series late last year, but it takes about a month and a half for each dvd to be released. :< I'm waiting for ALL of them to come out, then I buy the last three in one shot.

Yeah, when the teacher first appeared i was liek "eh? tats makoto? why did he talk so 'kindly' all of a sudden?" Its weird on why did he cut makoto's hair exactly to his own... @_@ I was wondering were the yrelated or sorts...

I really love Ayato's expression. It's very fitting to his character, and the hatched shading really emphasizes it. Very nice work!
