I haven't touched traditional media for so long. Now I finally have! *cries with happiness* I think I'm getting the hand of markers! Whoop!Just some character I made up. I needed an excuse to draw a character wearing tartan pants. So here we are! Tartan pants are underrated I say. I want a pair.
This is a giant birthday card for my friend Yng. I say giant because it's almost A2 size. @_@ Kinda last minute idea I had, this birthday card. I was going to buy her a gift, but I think this is better. More special. ^_^
This was too big for my scanner. The photo killed the colours.

One thing I realised about markers, it's good to invest in the more subdued tones as opposed to the bright ones... the range of bright yellows are almost the same! @_@

oh this pic is so awesome! I love how you make it seem to be almost in motion, and the expression on the persons face makes him seem so alive! The colors really stand out and help with the movement too, and the way all the little objects corrilate with the picture is awesome! I love the rat! Its cute and well drawn and helps add to the overall expression of the picture! the plaid looks kinda funny with the other colors, but it does add to the overall motley of colors effect. ^_^. I really like this picture because it really stood out to me, and everything is well drawn and correctly proportioned. ^_^

I've got no clue how you had enough energy to color such huge picture! And it must have taken gallons of marker-ink!

I remember I was drinking lots of real sugary drinks when I was colouring this pic. *grin* That must be how I got through the A2 part of the colouring process. It took me the whole day to finish it.
