Description Illustrated for Steamboat Ghost [link] as a thank you for all the wonderful reviews he leaves!

A scene from 'The Battle of Chameleon Bay', the second story in my Avatar: The Last Airbender fan-fiction series found at [link]

Exerpt from "The Battle of Chameleon Bay"
(chapter 8 - Clash)

“Whoa, what do you think you’re doing?” Sokka asked bossily.

“I’m going to help you fight,” Suki answered matter-of-factly, as if the question had been ridiculous; and really, to her it was.

“No way,” he said stubbornly as he crossed his arms.

Suki snapped. With angry determination, she stormed up to him, bringing her face to within an inch of his as she shouted.

“-You- are not the leader of the Kyoshi warriors, -I- am. And -you- do not have any say over what -I- decide to do. So if I tell -you- that I am coming along to watch -your- back, then -you- are just going to have to accept that!”

Well, we all know who wears the pants in this relationship. XD

Btw, Suki has pretty hair.

This is really good, but why is Aang wearing a dress? I'll have to re-read your story again... Love it, by the way.

Nice, I didn't think of Aang in water tribe clothes. I guess, when I was reading the story, I thought Katara must have mending his clothes while he was resting.

Now I'll know how to picture them, during these chapters.

Yeah, he had to borrow a tunic from one of Hakoda's men, and it was a little large on him.

That's one of the fun things about drawing scenes from my stories; i get to add in the smaller visual details that i imagined in my head, but when written out ended up bogging down the text.

This scene takes place only a few days after the events in 'Crossroads', and Aang's clothes were pretty much destroyed. So he borrowed a tunic from one of Hakoda's men (it looks a bit like a dress because it's too big).

It was a small detail that i never got around to mentioning in the story, so i put it in the drawing instead.
