Description Happy Critmas!!
Every year, the literature community puts on this wonderful event. Teams participating in Critmas compete to make as many critique comments as they can on deviations across DA.

here is the original journal if you are interested:
Critmas 2022: Let's go!It's the 26th, so we're off! 12 days of critiquing lie ahead Time to find your pencil - or keyboard - and let's go! , If you still haven't signed up yet - fear not, it's not too late! Just leave a comment, and you'll be assigned to one of the teams What you need to know before you get started:12 critiques is the minimum to be eligible for Critmas Prizes!Critiques are at least 100 words long, not counting greetings or send-offs (which ought to be along the lines of “This critique was brought to you by /, Merry Critmas!”. (Please keep the link to the journal somewhere in the greeting, so people easily can check out the event :la: ) All critiques must be written between December 26th and the end of our event, January 6th. (Pacific Standard Time / UTC-8. We allow one extra day to post links here). To grab the link for your critique, click the timestamp (it’ll say something like “1 hour ago”). This should take you to a www.deviantart.com/comments page followed by some numbers. That’s the link you want to copy!Post your critiques in the comments of this journal, in this format: one link per line whether any belong to a specific challenge.... Because we have challenges! And on top of the Ongoing Challenges, listed below, we shall also sporadically announce a special Daily Challenge, to be completed during that particular day (again using PST / UTC-8). MAKE SURE YOU ARE WATCHING @CRLiterature to receive timely notification of these daily challenges! These are the Ongoing Challenges for this year:Write at least one critique per day, all the days!Write 12 critiques (10 points)Write 25 critiques (5 points)Write 50 critiques (5 points)Write 100 critiques (10 points)Critique all the members of an opposing team (there are two teams, so you can do this twice - and rack up twice the points!) (8 points/team)Critique all the members of your own team (8 points)Abecedarius: write critiques for 26 deviants with usernames from A-Z (26 points)The Critmas Scavenger Hunt! Earn extra points by writing a critique (one per each) for something fitting the following themes (2 points per item):BirdFelineChristmas treeStarsPresentsSnowSweets(Remember to specify the theme you've written for when you post the link! That way we can find them easily.)WE ALSO HAVE SPOT PRIZES: An extra prize per day is set aside for one random participant who has posted their critiques that day, to be awarded once the event is over. This means you'll have a better chance of winning if you post critiques more often An extra challenge: Beat the hostsYou thought I wouldn't critique due to hosting the event? Think again. I might not join a team - that would be unfair - but I sure still can write. Same counts for my co-host @GrimAlpaca.So - there's an extra prize for whoever writes more critiques than us One prize if you beat @GrimAlpaca, one if you beat me (@BeckyKidus). Be warned that this is possibly the hardest challenge of the bunch... But there will be some decent prizes if you beat it/us! Judging Our judges will award points for all successfully completed challenges, as well as for each individual critique:A critique is considered good if it provides positive and specific feedback with respect to the creator’s artistic decisions.Suggestions for improvement (appropriate to the artist’s experience) are worth extra. Remember to always respect the artist’s vision!Critiques are given between 1 and 3 points each, 1 being a shorter critique and 3 being a great in-depth one. After Jan 6th, our jury will require some time to calculate the scores and put together the official announcement of the winners and their respective prizes. Again, make sure to Watch @CRLiterature to be the first to hear! Where to find work to critique: To provide you with material to critique, here are all the places where permission was given, and individual deviations or galleries specified by their owners:The CRLiterature Announcement journal BeckyKidus’ promotional art ... and forum threads (here and here) , Lastly, searching for the newest artworks which mention "critique" or "feedback" might pay off. (Remember to check in which context the words are used, though - while most do ask for feedback, I've also seen some where it's explicitly said critique is not wanted - so this is worth checking.)More comments might still appear before Critmas is over, so visit these frequently! And now - let's go critique some artwork!,

Are you looking for some fun and free critque on your art? Comment below which pieces you would like to possibly receive critique on or comment if your entire gallery is open for critique!
