I just feel like loose ends and frayed knots,While you thrive like,
Sugar pills and steel wrought,
I feel as though you keep tripping me with your eyes,
It feels like you have a problem with me,
Chained and bound,
I can’t be set free,
From your preconceived notions of who I should be
What is it you have against me,
Why must you shove a wedge in between,
I’m sorry if you fear I would hurt your friend,
But I would never break a heart,
Before giving it back
I just feel like split hairs and shot eyes,
While you laugh like,
Red bull and easy lives,
I feel as though you are shooting me down with your ties,
I can’t help but wonder,
If you ever look past,
If you ever really know me well enough,
To think I’m some sort of threat
What is it you have against me,
Why must you shove a wedge in between,

Before giving it back
I would set him,
Let him detach himself from me,
But why would I break him down,

I know he’s your best friend,
Are you worried I’d hurt him,

Without cause to give it back
So why can’t you just let go?
Was there something I did,
Or something I don’t know,
What do you think of me?
Do you not trust me?
Can’t you see you’re hurting me?
