Rivets of cream coloured light,Fall upon your hair,
slice across your face
Rivets of darkness,
bolt into the air,
make the sun slink down,
behind a metal horizon line
Steel rivets sink into metal,
sealing a door,
I am lost behind,
My safety from the world,
My prison from life
Rivets staple this title to my life,
Gleaming rusty in my eyes,
I feel pinned in place,
by these heavy metal weights
Rivets hinder my life
