Description
My mind glides,
With painful regression,
Into thoughts of restoration,
Thoughts of you,
So drained to,
Save you,
I can barely keep my eyes open,
My head lulls,
The words stall,
As I feel my strength slip away
Waning down to a sliver,
The half moon cries,
Breaking into shattered glass,
I can feel it rain from the sky,
As I slowly close my eyes,
Too weak to fight,
Too weak to save you,
My one regret
And as I regress,
Into these dreams,
Thoughts of you swirl inside of me,
Beating me in,
Draining me of everything
Even in sleep,
I can not fight off the waning,
It strings me along,
Draining me,
Of all I have left,
So I can’t save you,
But I need to
I died to save you
And the glass moon shatters in the sky,
Breaking down it will cry,
Until its pieces rain from heaven,
Biting into my skin,
The slivers the thoughts,
Pounding you in,
To my paper skin,
So damaged,
So drained
I can not save,
I just need to close my eyes,
Just feel it wane
