There's a rumor going around that a Mimi from Digimon Adventure would be making a cameo in the Digimon Xros Wars: The Boy who leads thru Time. So when I saw this in deserter's latest deviation, I just had to request him to let me do this.
Took me about 3 days to do the outline. I love using the shape layer tool for this kind of thick outline that has a wide variety of depth. For the color, I used the original anime Mimi's color pallete as my guide so it'll have that anime look to it.
Hope those rumors of a cameo come true & enjoy this piece.

This is exactly how I imagine Mimi to be when she became a late Teenager and if she still wear her classic oufit . That outfit really was her trademark.
