sus hermanas tan hermosas
se reían de su color.
Cuentan que hay una rosa
que una bruja recogió,
porque era diferente
y un trato le ofreció:
Pétalos tan hermosos a cambio de un favor,
ser la luz que ilumine el amor.
Cuentan que hay una rosa
que una bruja regaló
a un príncipe avaro
que cobijo no le dio.
Y ahora, pasa sus días encerrada
en el ala oeste esperando
a que el amor la libere.
Cuentan que hay una rosa
que sin pétalos quedó.>>

<that was born near the sea,
it was frail and tender,
it wasn't like the rest.
They say there's a rose
that without petals was born,
its sisters so fair
laughed at its tone.
They say there's a rose
that a witch took in,
as it was unlike
and a deal offered it:
Petals so fair in exchange for a boon,
being the light illuminating love.
They say there's a rose
that a witch presented
to an avaricious prince
who didn't give her shelter.
And now, it spends its days caged
in the west wing waiting
for love to set it free.
They say there's a rose
that with no petals was left.>>

This drawing was inspired by the song you just read. It tells the tale of how the prince came to be the Beast. I hope you enjoy it ^^.
P.S.: I did the translation myself so there might be a couple mistakes. I tried yo keep the rhyme so it was hard, don't mind it please.
