Description

Prompt/Summary: A break in the clouds stops the rains for a while, but the rolling fog is ever-present. It weaves between the broken longhouses, casting a cold, swirling, gray on what's left of Wargrun. The two rebels keep a watchful eye out for any sign of movement amidst the rubble- eyeing shadows and wind-rustled debris, when the last of the fading light glints on armor a ways up the road. They can barely see the dark warg-shape cutting through the fog.

A nod is exchanged, and Kalda rushes forward as Skovald disappears into the dim.

Kalda skids to a stop before the guard- snarling wildly and threatening him with her fangs, and he greets her with an equal ferocity. She makes a false charge at the guard's leg and pulls back again- bringing his attention further from the side of the street in which Skovald lay waiting.

As soon as the guard's back turns towards him, Skovald rounds the corner, swift and silent, with an axe at the ready.
