Fascism is a form of government where the government controls everything, thus it cannot be applied to a movement pushing for less government control (ie, the Tea Party).

Ummmm, you do know the Tea Party stole that flag right?

The Gadsden flag pre-dates Old Glory.

But it is a funny piece of satire, reguardless

If you hate fascism so much and support communism, what do you think about the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact [link] ?

Joachim von Ribbentrop was a Nazi, fascist. And Molotov was a bolshevik - communist from Soviet Union.

Many people (me included) do not consider Bolshevik Russia to be communist, but "state capitalist" or "bureaucratic collectivist".

Just because such uneducated people like you replace mainstream communism with own (thus capitalist ) lies, it does not mean the Soviet Union was not communist. Ask trusted historians such as Norman Davies for Władysław Bartoszewski for more details.

It depends on what definition you use. If you check the original definition of communism used by Karl Marx, the SU falls short of it.

Just because Karl Marx wanted to start his sick ideas in more developed Western Europe, not in Russia ? Invalid argument.

Besides, the link you shown me consists of words of Lenin - leader of country you consider as capitalist. Read carefully:

"From the moment all members of society, or at least the vast majority, have learned to administer the state themselves, have taken this work into their own hands, have organized control over the insignificant capitalist minority, over the gentry who wish to preserve their capitalist habits and over the workers who have been thoroughly corrupted by capitalism — from this moment the need for government of any kind begins to disappear altogether. The more complete the democracy, the nearer the moment when it becomes unnecessary. The more democratic the "state" which consists of the armed workers, and which is "no longer a state in the proper sense of the word", the more rapidly every form of state begins to wither away.

"Then the door will be thrown wide open for the transition from the first phase of communist society [Socialism] to its higher phase [Communism], and with it the complete withering away of the state.

Vladimir Lenin
The State and Revolution
Chpt 5. The higher phase of Communist Society "

Providing parts of lies written by communist who lead country you consider as capitalist can mean only 2 things: either you have no idea about communism at all, or you simply try fooling me without result. Or both.

1. There are several quotes by Marx and Engels and one by Lenin.
2. I do support the ideas behind the quote, even if not Lenin's actions that were contrary to what he preached. Why would one not desire "The more complete the democracy, the nearer the moment when it becomes unnecessary." ?

3. Calm down, catgirl-loving Reagan cultist!

1. So what ?
2. Just because you give such testimonies, it does not mean they are right.

3. Prove me that I am "catgirl-loving Reagan cultist".

Stalin was a Marxist too, read here [link]

If you really want to convince me to your own ( thus capitalist ) visions, do me a favour and convert the cultists of Stalin to your views, they can be found here [link] .

The non-aggression pact was a means to give the USSR time enough to develop its industries, production, and military defenses before the inevitable conflict occurred. They did so as a last resort as they did not receive any help from the US or UK, and were left with no other choice.

So this proves communism is not such ideal regime, since it needs to pact with those you call "capitalists" and "fascists" , as well as the fact communism and nazism are same wicked ideologies.

The American "Tea Party" is an extreme right wing / fascist group which has gained a lot of power and notoriety in the US in the past 4 years, and they are known to use the "Gadsden Flag" which is a yellow flag with a snake and the words "Don't tread on me".

It says a lot about you that you're calling a group pushing for limited government a term that applies to a system of government that controls everything.

Oh, It was about the Teabaggers? They are a bunch of idiots who don't seem to realise just how much damage they are doing to their own cause.

The brilliant part is that the fist, snake, and hammer and sickle are all part of an old Soviet agitprop poster - but it fit so perfectly in a Teabagger context!

Regardless of what one thinks of Soviet communism, they're agitprop has been fantastically useful and inspirational to many artists.

While claims have been made that the Tea Party is losing ground with voters, I am not inclined to believe that just yet.
