Renard keeps saying he's "agender", meaning he does not have a gender in style. So I THINK its a guy, but agender, so dressed mostly as a girl.

((agender generally means that you're not any gender. it's not about style. how you dress etc. does not define your gender. had to point that out, sorry))

Yes, but I was talking about Renard himself. He's a guy. But in his style, he does not care about gender.

yeah, i know. renard's agender, not a guy.

Sorry, I failed to understand your syntax. Do you mean Renard is agender in his style or that he is agender for real ? I am talking about the real Renard IRL. The man, not the character.

kuroisaurus In reply to SachatheBaka [2013-06-27 13:38:18 +0000 UTC]

yeah, i'm talking about IRL renard. he's agender. and i don't mean his style.

So he has no genitalia ? No dick ? Nothing under there ?

we were talking about their gender, not their sex. owo;
renard's gender identity is agender, i'm too lazy to explain it but here, have this: www.asexuality.org/wiki/index....

That was exactly what I was trying to say ! Its a dude ! But by his identity and his fashion style, he doesn't give a single shit at all, he considers hmself as both.

kuroisaurus In reply to SachatheBaka [2013-06-27 14:14:07 +0000 UTC]

my point was that if one identifies and introduces themself as agender, or any other gender identity, you call them by that, not by their physical gender.

SachatheBaka In reply to kuroisaurus [2013-06-27 14:19:54 +0000 UTC]

I normally call someone by HIS physical gender. Don't think I will say "Hey, have you seen Renard ? She's a guy !" It'd be too awkward and I'm not going to refer like lite ITS. Its HE. ITS is kinda understating.

well you should know that there are plenty of transgender people and for most of them it's very uncomfortable if someone misgenders them. i'm not sure what pronouns renard prefers but i'll just use "they" because it's a neutral pronoun.

I prefer saying he. That's it. He said at some places that he doesn't care being called either a girl or a man.

kuroisaurus In reply to SachatheBaka [2013-06-27 14:48:15 +0000 UTC]

do as you wish. i've only heard that renard doesn't care about the pronouns, but doesn't want to be classified as a man or a woman.

SachatheBaka In reply to kuroisaurus [2013-06-27 14:55:15 +0000 UTC]

What does he want him to be referred to, then ? An object ? A Something ? Something inanimate ?

kuroisaurus In reply to SachatheBaka [2013-06-27 15:01:23 +0000 UTC]

a person.

why isn't a person enough?
but i don't know, you should probably ask them.

"English pronouns : He, She, You, I, them (Its plural and I'm talking about Renard and no one else) They (Its plural again)" and most of the rest is about objects.
So anyway, even if I call him a she or a he, I'm not sure it'll piss him off and I'm not sure it'll harm him. So from by now, shut up. I call him however I want, I'm never going to insult him, I respect him a lot but that story about referring him to an object or calling a single person a group of person isn't the thing I'd do. I saw A LOT of people saying "He" and even squeedge said things like "He is very busy for the moment" so I'm not sure he dislikes people doing this. maybe he'd like more to be referred to his neutrality, but he doesn't really care about being called a guy or a girl.

kuroisaurus In reply to SachatheBaka [2013-06-27 15:52:42 +0000 UTC]

okay wow, calm down geez. i was trying to have a rational discussion about this and you tell me to "shut up" ???

and "they" is actually a legit pronoun to use for a person whose gender you don't know/aren't sure about. so maybe you should get your facts right. i was not referring them to an object jfc.
and i do know people call him "he" but as i said, renard doesn't/didn't care about the PRONOUNS you use on them. and actually; " [NATURE CLAN] RENARD ‏@renardqueenston : don't know what boy or girl mean to me any more and don't know which i am, if any. i have yet more exploring to do and things to figure out. > guess in the mean time i'd like to ask people to start using "they" when referring to me using pronouns. it'll certainly make things easier." so there.

SachatheBaka In reply to kuroisaurus [2013-06-27 16:07:14 +0000 UTC]

He doesn't care so much. I tell you. You even said it. I dislike calling a single person a group of person, you're not the one going to say otherwise since its ME. I will call Renard HE unless he or his girlfriend or maybe even his very close friend tell me and his fans that he gets offended by those pronouns. I am naturally harsh. Get thicker skinned. I said "Shut up". Its not like if I would have said real offensive stuff. And I tell you, I'm a Quebecker, I know a lot about offensive things. Tore is tired of your bullshit, I am also tired of your bullshit. I went on 7 different sites that told me "You could call someone agender a it, but it is maybe an understatement to the person, so the best way to call someone with no real gender would be to call him/her by his/her REAL gender.". 90% of the people knowing Renard, everywhere, will say its a He. You say it yourself, he doesn't care about being called a He/She/They.

kuroisaurus In reply to SachatheBaka [2013-06-27 16:37:54 +0000 UTC]

oh i know he doesn't care much, but you saw the tweets, but whatever then i guess. i know people call them "he" and it's completely okay. it's stupid to argue about this thing.
i don't care if you're tired of my "bullshit", if you can't discuss about things maturely it's not my problem.
and that's actually very naive thing to say, whoever wrote that information on those websites, because in reality the whole thing totally depends on the person! some don't care at all, some get really anxious and it's a real problem for them. it's just plain rude to not call someone by the pronouns they ask people to call them by, you can't just divide the thing like that and think everyone's the same and okay with it. so don't try to be all knowing and stuff if you haven't experienced being agender by yourself, you'll probably understand if you'd had.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SachatheBaka In reply to kuroisaurus [2013-06-27 16:53:45 +0000 UTC]

I already argued maturely with you, and you didn't wanted to understand anything.
And its not naive, since you can't exactly know how to call them normally.
By the, let's say, "Normality", you call them by their real genders. And he said himself, he don't really care but it'd be a bit better to call him with a neutral pronoun. I have a lot of friends who experienced this agender thing, they all agreed to say "Yes, you would ***NORMALLY*** call the person by the real gender. That's like this for most of the people."
If Renard would have a problem with it, he would have said it. Oh look, he said he didn't cared ! Yes, we are tired of your bullshit. Maturity doesn't have something to play in this. I am NATURALLY harsh and still, if you get so offended by the words "Shut up" and "Tired of your bullshit", you should seriously go get thicker skinned. yes, its stupid to argue for it, but you are almost attacking me. You're not the one who's gonna make me change my logic and my practices.

kuroisaurus In reply to SachatheBaka [2013-06-27 17:11:47 +0000 UTC]

i do understand but it seems you don't want to be corrected if you're wrong. you know i'm just trying to be educating, not attacking and i'm sorry if it seems like it.
it is naive because you could always ask what they want you to call them, because the experience is really varied and people are different.

I KNOW renard doesn't care much. i have never said it would harm him or anything like that.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SachatheBaka In reply to kuroisaurus [2013-06-27 17:23:19 +0000 UTC]

Yes, but why did I need to ask Renard if he said he didn't cared ? I already had friends who were agender. So it was basically useless to send him an email, wait for days because he is probably busy and maybe won't even respond.

kuroisaurus In reply to SachatheBaka [2013-06-27 17:43:05 +0000 UTC]

i don't know, you wanted to know more precisely?? i didn't command you to do so.

You basically asked me to go ask him...
But now, this shit's over, I got better things to do.

Skunk-Spunk In reply to UglyTree [2013-06-27 00:13:03 +0000 UTC]

wikipedia is a little shit

Renard actually made references of some of his characters (I wish I could find them for you, but they're floating around on Tumblr hhhHH)
And, technically speaking, Eugene isn't a girl... She's intersexed, but identifies as female.
