Less than two weeks ago, famous Spider-Man artist of the late 60's and 70's John Romita Sr. had passed away at the age of 93. This latest news devastated not just his son, John Romita Jr., but the entire Spider-Man and Marvel community in general. I was shocked to hear the news of John's passing considering that he's one of my favorite Spidey artists next to Steve Ditko, Todd McFarlane and Mark Bagley. While I am more of a fan of Spidey with big eyes, I really adore the small lenses from Ditko and especially Romita in our case. His art style is what influenced me into getting better with a few of my Spider-Man artwork. And my art piece that your seeing is a replication of Romita Sr.'s art style of Spider-Man. Even if it's late to the game, I hope you like my art piece.Our condolences go out to his family. Rest in peace, John Romita Sr.
