For earlier this year I created a set of 4 illustrations for his commissioned FGE Project (Forgotten Girls of Elasticity), and he was kind enough to let me post copies to my own gallery. Here we have Spanner of the X-People, from the MC2 continuity by Marvel Comics. Fans of Spider-Girl and J2 may recognize the X-People cameos from the late 90's.
In the near (alternate) future, Spanner was one of 6 mutants in a team led by an older Jubilee, as another branch of the extended X-Men family. Spanner seemed to have a self-assured confidence in her abilities and appearance, and was always ready to get to the action. She got to show off her powers during a sudden confrontation with Juggernaut's son.
Spanner (along with the rest of the X-People) showed up in a handful of issues, but never got used beyond that. At the very least, she seemed alive and well in her last appearance.

Is it just me or does "Spanner" seem like a grown up version of Valeria Richards, daughter of Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, with her fathers powers. I never read a lot of MC2 comics so I'm not sure if her intelligence is high but she looks like she could've possibly been Franklin's daughter if he'd been old enough to have a teenager of his own.

Wow! Great work as usual Chivo. Spanner was always a favorite character, and the central pose is just great. At least this time, no one can complain about how that's not possible haha.
