The slight change in the front of her costume didn't bring much appeal than her previous design, Mr. Chivo. Notice Bubblegum Jane 1, 2, and 3, A Snowball's Chance..., and Cat and Mouse in your gallery. Overall, the change is working great.

Must be pretty handy to be your own stool! Now there's a sentence I never even once thought I'd be typing!

Thanks for your praise, and comments!

I believe the website, Indyplanet.com, will deliver outside the United States, so please take a look and see if they will ship my comic (or any comic!) to your address there. [link]

As for sales at stores in Mexico, I will have to see how things do here, first, but I will definitely research those options.

In the meantime, there are still a very few copies of Jane Issue #1 at the discounted rate I mentioned ($8.50) and of course there will be digital options very soon!

Congrats Chivo - You got my first DA print order ever!

This might be an odd thing to say, given the obvious abilities of the person in question, but I've just now noticed how natural Jane's, uh, measurements are in comparison to the usual way comic book superheroines are being drawn these days... Okay, granted that Jane's normal physique would be the envy of many fitness models, but still it's still rather refreshing to see that she's not hiding a pair of cantelopes, so to speak.

Now, this is her normal appearance, correct? I've come across a few role-playing game elastic gals in my time that use their powers to pump themselves up (or drastically slim down in one case) from their normal selves for their super identities.

Aw, jeez, man. Your first print ever? That makes my day!

I do appreciate your notice of Jane's proportions, btw. This is her typical appearance. I'm fascinated by the range of forms for men or women, but I relish the variety, so I don't need to buy into a single body type. That said, I'm sure Jane could easily alter her measurements as befitted the occasion or assignment.

By comparison, Aly is quite lean and thin. And EMAE, of course, can alter her measurements as befits the occasion. ;D

Heh, first DA print ever.

And thanks for the confirmation that this is her typical appearance. It will certainly be a pleasant shock to see her in normal everyday clothing sometime in the future (though, there is that ackward equation of "Heroine's elastic body reacting to an outside stimuli + Normal clothes worn being unable to keep up = Fan-Service" )

I dunno why my mind always tries to go the logical route with women like this, but... How much of her mass is in her foot just to keep her butt off the ground?

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

WunderChivo In reply to Superblade [2011-11-16 16:59:11 +0000 UTC]

LOL I hate to say it, but Stretch is right, 'blade! When a woman has the ability to alter the mass in her foot at will, you probably don't want to ask that question within kicking range.

Stretch-Ink [2011-11-16 00:25:41 +0000 UTC]

LOL! Very cute. The stool is sheer genius -- Jane's sense of balance is epic. Although her pose made me wonder: when Jane pops her knuckles, do they make a sound?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

WunderChivo In reply to Stretch-Ink [2011-11-16 17:01:26 +0000 UTC]

I think, unless Jane really concentrated on tensing up her ligaments and tendons to rock-solid, she'd probably have to tie her fingers into pretzels or origami shapes to achieve that noise.

Stretch-Ink In reply to WunderChivo [2011-11-17 01:47:55 +0000 UTC]

Now I have this image of a pissed-off pre-teen Jane --er, Janice -- watching all the kids in class crack their knuckles during recess.

I too didn't notice that she was the stool at first glance.

This is a great picture, and I agree with the Princess -- it would make an awesome print.

Either that, or a piece for a pin up gallery.

Nice!

WunderChivo In reply to BalloonPrincess [2011-11-16 17:12:39 +0000 UTC]

That is definitely a good idea. I hadn't considered this before now, because I wasn't sure where Jane's first issue would be. Now, it seems like a good avenue for extra sales, eh?

I will be editing this image with a logo and a simple background and we can see how prints do. Thanks for your suggestion, Princess!
