The dude behind Charlie Manhuge is a buddy of mine, actually.
And when I thought graves I really thought they were gloves because they both start with "g"!
As far as my wood elf is concerned yeah they might as well be looking at his shoes because he is half the size of any NPC ever.

I used to think that too, then I had a character wear them and realized that they didn't go on the hands.
Wood Elves are short, so very short. Good thing their archery and stealth makes up for it, otherwise no one would play as them.

I play as a Bosmer too, I was not trying to insult them. Most people dislike them because of Fargoth or the Adoring Fan. The height thing can be bothersome when you can't reach something high above you and have to jump.

I guess it is also extremely disheartening to see your camera pan up a 90-degree angle to see an NPC's face.

Then again, it used to be annoying to be a Khajiit. They used to be denied footwear, which meant that they could not gain bonuses from wearing all Light, Medium, or Heavy Armor (Based on Morrowind). You would have all these fancy boots that they couldn't wear and could only sell.

naw man dark elves are ugly and high elves are silly looking.

Plus those high-elves have those weaknesses to magic, if I remember correctly.
The Dark Elves were decent-looking in Morrowind. Plus, their voices were much cooler, heavy and dark instead of the ones used in Oblivion. High Elves seem to be there for people who only want to be magic-wielders or wanted to have gold skin.

The main quest is rather short, but fun. As long as you are not afraid of daedra, that is.
How about, what was your highest level on the game? I got to level 14 once, before the save file decided it had to commit suicide and corrupted itself.

I always forget that there is a difficulty level on the game. Sometimes, it seems difficult to begin with.

It's sad to think that they toned down the daedra in Oblivion. In Morrowind, you could only kill them with silver, daedric weapons, or magic. If you met one early in the game, you would get to chose between death and running away. I did that once, I found a Daedra Warlord because I decided to steal from a shrine and didn't know that it would summon the warlord. That is also the reason I never go into a daedra area at night with head-phones on high.

I was actually scared the first time I found an Oblivion Gate, only wielding an iron sword and a weak fireball spell. Thank goodness they changed it, otherwise a lot of people would have been upset when they couldn't even kill a stunted scamp.

Did you know that you could charm daedra into liking you? They don't say much, just tell you to go away. But, it is an interesting concept.
Do liches have the same ability? I know ghosts are immune to normal weapons and such, but I can't remember if liches are in the same category.
Liches are annoying, especially when they surprise attack you.

You need a really powerful charm spell. I've managed to get the spell once, but I never got a chance to use it. By that time, the daedra liked to get into large groups to overpower everyone.

i hate when monsters chase you to the ends of the Earth even if you didn't do anything to them (fucking wolves).

also yeah i have to climb on rocks that are only accessible by jumping to kill anything because the AI is so stupid that jumping is not in their reptiore of abilities and it is an exclusive move to the player

i don't have a horse and I'm the stealthiest thing around, i can burst in a house while people eat dinner, jack their valuables, and be out and they won't notice
