Hey Guys I made a mechanic version of the infamous praying mantis. This is actually an Original Concept that I did using references of the actual insect. My idea of this thing is that kinda big so It can get in truouble with some Mechagodzilla XD. Everything is 3D so I had a great time putting all the pieces together. So basically I've been recycling parts of other robots and make new ones to fit in this specific purpose. The final image is actually 4K and it was Rendered in Keyshot 7 Pro with a custom made HDRI. I did a couple of tests because at first I tought that "Green" would be the perfect choice for this color but it wasn´t. I came across with this hybrid material more like glass-liquid see trough looking, more like yellow, gold and brown with a black background for higher constrast. I also made another Render wich is all metal, but metallic parts take more time to render out so it will be in my portafolio soon but only to my Watchers+ Only folder. So what you guys think? C&C are always welcome.
