Jupitrans are the natives of planet Jupiter. Being inhabitants of a gas planet, they are exist as a strange mixture of biometallics, and swirling gaseous vapours. Seemingly defying all previously known laws of biology. They can manifest themselves into massive swirling clouds or solidify into immaculate shining golem which can take any form. Battlesuits are the pinacle of this Self-Sculpting as it is called. In Jupitran society, their "Sculpted" form is considered to be a combination of both clothes and face, they consider turning into clouds to be a very inappropriate form of lewdness.

Battlesuits, are those Jupitrans who have sworn fealty to the Storm of War (The Jupitran Deity of combat). They permanently "Weld" themselves into shape which goes beyond regular sculpting. This process is supremely painful but results in a unique and nigh indestructible battle form which ironically now struggles to function on Jupiters surface. Because of this most Jupitrans which have undergone Welding settle on the surfaces of Ganymede and Europa.
