The Hrrrl, more commonly known as Flymen are creatures found in Lumbria, in the far east of The Old World. They are a primitive people and are docile by nature but are very easy for the Tregara to Pheromone-Control meaning they make effective troops in battle who are unlikely to rout if a Tregara is nearby. Flymen make up the bulk of what remains of the Prehistoric Tregara Empire and live in immense hive fortresses which dot the Lumbrian outback.

The Hrrrl have attained a remarkable level of civilization despite not making use of fire. Clothes are woven from dried plants and animal skins while their weapons and shields are put together by a skilled artisan caste who use insect parts and magically cured tree sap to create equipment of remarkable quality and refinement.
