Description
Fjalla, nicknamed "Thunder Thieves" by the mountain folk, earned their name for their unusual method of hunting. Fjalla spend most of their time hibernating in communal dens until awakened by the faint static charge which often precedes lightning storms. With the specialized spine on their backs they capture lightning bolts and store that electricity in their neck, allowing them to generate a devastating supercharged bite capable of killing prey several times their own size. Once the feast has ended and the storm has let up, the Fjalla return home to sleep until the next storm awakens them and the hunt begins once again.
