Reuploaded, cuz a little Yote, bunny...er..crow dragon chica asked me too ^^

This is my first Canvas ( a species of dragons I created)...some BG on em now...cuz I was asked for it.)

Species: Canvas/Dragon

Gender : Male

Name: N/A right now

Sentient: Yes, very, but like people, there are some above, and below par.

Flight: Not without help.

Swim: Yes, very well.

Speech: Yes...mostly a common language, but they easily pick up others. When young, they can easily master a few languages, enough to get them well established later in life.

Society: Canvas' are very social, Clan like creatures. Lead by the elders of their clans, they work well together ( like people, without the bitter parts). They follow old laws, traditions, and beleifs..tho have no base religion. Superstitious, but only in a mild/humours way, they follow the elders of their clan as if their words were law. But there is no set leader. Like all societies, there are some bad apples. But even those that do not want to help, or follow the ways, are easyily dealt with. There are 3 main classes of Canvas Dragon: The Hides, The Pericers, and The Inkers. Hides are the basice Canvas...workers, harvestors, fishers..the dragons that do all of the basic work, building, and tending to everyday life. The Pericers, and Inkers tho, are a special breed of Canvas ( Soon to be fully illustrated ^^) Smaller bodied, with more developed craniums, and specialized forearms, these two subclasses as overly specialized for the spiritual, teaching, and adornment of their fellow Canvas'. The peircers have a specilazed thump, and forefinger...shaped much like a claw, it is designed to do the periceings, that signify acheviment, and growth of a young Canvas, while the inkers claws, are all elongated, and razor sharp...hollow as well, so when dipped in ink, they work like perfect little hypodermic needles...allowing ease of tattooing...Canvas' status in their tribe, is designated by their tattoos and pericings. The more of both you have, the more standing you have in the Clan. All Canvas' are born white, live, and one, or two at a time. More is very rare, and color is almost none exhistant in infants.
