This is brilliant, with the bear and lion paws, the lady, and the fae steeds! And he's dark-skinned and dark-haired, as I depict him in my "Moonphase" novels, for reasons explained there. Thank you for sharing this!

And now that I'm comparing both this version and the traditional, I like the other much better! The mushrooms and general background add a lot to it, I think. I also think i like the girl's pose in the other one, though I like how in this one you can see more of his face... But really thank you for putting both up, its interesting to see the same artist's takes in different mediums
