Thanks! I'm a big fan too... of the male model XD
I am making my own version of the female here, mostly altering the features I don't care for (bug eyes, snarl, etc.).
I moulded the sculpture this weekend and I de-moulded it just a few minutes ago. The mould came out pretty much perfectly, so I'll be casting the resin version of the mask tonight and then I'll have the actual mask underskull! I'll be adding the eyes, teeth, etc. over the next several days and hopefully will have the underskull complete by Friday so I can start to apply the fur.

It was funny you said that, because I looked at it and realized it wasn't precisely like the female model.
I did wish the finished project was wolf-like, and didn't have derp eyes, but I seem to be alone in this.

You are not alone! *shakes fist*
My mask is based on the alpha female worgen model and real wolves, as opposed to the beta model currently seen in-game. If you have never seen the alpha model from Cata development, here's a picture: [link]
The troll I made was also based on the female troll alpha model, which actually looked LIKE A TROLL [link] . And don't get me started on how the male blood elves were forced to take steroids (current model) because their original models [link] were deemed "too girly" by the player base and people complained.
Imagine that... species where the male and female look similar! Such a daring and novel concept. Apparently, sapient species in Azeroth ALL somehow experienced extreme evolutionary-driven sexual dimorphism before the events in-game... [/sarcasm]

Lol.
I actually did hear about the alpha troll and tauren models being radically changed, and I felt so disappointed. I knew that WoW had never really tried anything new with their females, so I wasn't expecting much, but I never imagined that the female Worgen would be disappointing on so many levels. I can't even be angry at it anymore, I just feel disappointed. CRUSHING disappointment.
Honestly, I was offered the chance to play this game a few years ago, and after looking at them, I felt uninterested because most of what constituted a female character was just switching the head and skin color. XD.
I like making both male and female characters (yes, I am that sort of person), and though I don't think that all species should have males and females being UGLY AS HELL, ugly races should look...well, ugly, and more delicate ones look more delicate.

I wasn't one of the people who was expecting something like this [link] but I thought MAYBE they would do a design that would actually make me want to make a female character. I wasn't even angry when I saw the design, I was just depressed when I saw the heavy-breasted, small-wasted appearance, and it got worse when they changed the head XD.

Agreed. That is why I am constructing my own XD

Good idea. Too bad it will never be actualized. There's always the Charr though: [link]
I should note that some of the males have the option to have the more feline head as well, and the females have no breasts.

Lol, well, we can only wish. I think I'm just uncommonly sensible, and it's amusing because there has been very little "not feminine enough" outcry with the female Charr, and it is generally well received.
A common argument I hear for having fantasy creatures have breasts is that they are "half human" and should have 6 breasts anyways, or something like that, but having six full-sized breasts when not pregnant sounds incredibly impractical, just like a creature running on four legs with 2 very large breasts sounds extremely impractical XD.

Having 2 normal-sized breasts is annoying enough for me as a human... makes running annoying and - without a sports bra - painful.

Rofl, a friend and I were joking that the female worgen would tittyslap themselves while trying to do their four-legged run. Especially with that awkward forward tilt their long legs cause. XD.

How did you do the nose and eyes?

The eyes are glass and I ordered them off of the internet (Van Dyke's taxidermy).
The nose is just clay like the rest, though I detailed it using a sculpting tool to carve the outlines of the bumps and then 99% alcohol on a soft brush to smooth them down.

Yeah, that's pretty much standard procedure when working with oil-based clay - basically a cheap and quick way to get a smooth finish or to dull down strong details. ^_^
