"Wait!" TK gasped, voice sounding hopeful, anxious, and angry at the same time. "Sony-MMMNGPH!" Whatever she had been about to say was stifled away forever, as Sonya leapt through the air and pounced atop the still half-bound TK, pillow mashing across the young heroine's face.

That pillow drove the back of TK's head deep into the plastic-coated mattress beneath her, while Sonya's weight pinned her firmly in place. If she hadn't been so very tired and sore, TK might have been able to stop it. But she was weakened from her endless series of ordeals, worn to the bone, and all her efforts had a heavy, weary quality that robbed them of their intendedly fierce force. As it was, the tiger-girl found herself trapped fast, struggling valiantly...while that pillow sealed away sight, and voice. And breath.

"What, nothin' to say NOW? Huh? I can't hear ya kitten...you're gonna hafta speak up a bit! Where's that smart mouth'a yours now?! Huh, WHERE?! You prissy, self-righteous, FEEB!!"

"Nmmmh! Gmmh ungggh mnnnh!" TK shouted frantically, thrashing around and clutching at Sonya's arms, flailing her fists against the madwoman's torso, even punching her in the head, face, and ribs... But nothing was working. If anything, all the violent struggling accomplished was to make the insanely berserking white tigress push the pillow even harder against her frantic young victim's face. TK knew struggling and crying out like this was only burning her air up faster...but she was starting to lose control. Besides: It didn't look like Sonya intended to let her live through this one. It was time to fight now...or never again!

"Just...DIE...kitten!" Sonya roared, bouncing the pillow up and down against TK's face. "Die, you little COWARD! I'm the strong one... I'M the huntress! Do you hear me?! DO YOU?!" She shoved down hard, all her weight against the smothering white pad. "YOU'RE NOTHING!!!"

And while TK would never have agreed with that last assessment, it certainly seemed like Nothing was reaching up to wrap around her in its stifling embrace, as the world faded toward a shadowy whitish blur, and a terrible buzzing filled her twitching ears...
