Ugh...I completely agree. I rushed the composition in the field. I was standing on some very slick rocks and drift wood to get this shot, and it was fairly challenging. I thought about a slight, 5% or so, crop at the top to level off the waterfall. What do you think?

I would usually say thats not such a good idea, but the old scroll in the window to crop it works a treat.
Take away any of the detail to the waterfall and it takes away my want to see more of it and just leaves it as a lead in to the details below.
My optimum place for cropping to would be just below that little horizontal white part in the darker area of the falls where it is obviously hitting a rock on its way down. Not sure if you will know where I am thinking of from the description... kinda hard when its mainly a blur of white water!
