Sweet Gum Staff, with a chestnut brown suede leather grip, gray/black rabbit fur trim, a copper wire wrap, handcrafted copper chain, sterling silver bead & feathers.....
Edit: This staff is now for sale. The guy who had it reserved has been out of contact for over a year. Note me if you want it. It's $60 + shipping. I can take better pics if you need them in order to decide.
The name of the deviation has been changed because someone wanted to randomly argue with me about whether it's a "druid" staff or not.
If you wish to have something similar custom designed, drop us a note, as commissions are open for staffs.
Note: All commission work is pre-paid only. If I put your name on it, nobody else wants it.

How did you embed the copper in the wood? It looks like you cut a path for it? What did you use to attach it, if anything?
Also, I have been looking through your gallery, I love the work y'all have been doing. Its all so beautiful.

I extended and deepened an original path left by a vine, and then carefully pushed the wire into it, securing it with a combination of tension and a strong epoxy.

Please, please, please, PLEASE! tell me that you are going to make more, and post pics! I love staffs! They are my hobby, and what I collect most. The feathers are glorious, the copper looks great, and the counter clock wise spiral just adds a whole bunch to the effect. Where did you get feathers like those?

Honestly, if you really like this, the guy it was promised to has evaporated, so $60 would take it off my hands...

My problem is twofold. First, I do not have any money, nor do I have the means to pay. I simply enjoy that kind of stuff, and am working on learning to craft such things. Thank you for your offer.

It depends, but I usually sell a wand for $20 to $50, depending on how fancy it is and whether I used crystals and such. I need to get some more made, now that you mention it.
