Happy Birthday !!~February 1st, 2009~
I finally finished it! After several attempts at a parakeet, this is what I came up with.
I'm sorry it's not coloured, it seems that I cannot colour birds very well. (As I learned from my first few drawings...)
So this is a black and white parakeet, done with my smudge stick.
I'm also sorry that this is very, very late.
School takes away my drawing time, and since our week long vacation started, I actually had time to draw this!

It's not too old. It doesn't pick up all my pencil lines though and on the scanner they always look really scratchy and messy.

Strange. Perhaps you should outline your drawings with pen, then the scanner might be able to pick up lines better.

Just grey, but with yellow at the wings and head, and red spots on his cheeks. He also has this little patch of feathers on top of his forehead that stands straight up. He looks sweeter than he is. XD
