A rendering of a portion of the Moorish architecture of a Spanish Islamic Palace, The Alhambra.

Digital Hybrid Rendering Process:
30-45 minute light, drafted under-sketch. Working in mental layers, rendered in the foreground elements, trees and shrubs, then rendered in the building, feathering and bleeding the edges into the trees where necessary. Sky-wash with a round red sable brush. Scanned with reflecting pool blank. Brought into Photoshop, reflected through appropriate perspective ratio, water effect applied, water surface tint color layered above. Finish time ~ 16 hours. (I work slow)

It's a bit choppy in some areas of the pool due to rushing for a class deadline, so I may come back to it at a later date and redo that portion. That and allow a little more focus on a better background.
