This was actually going to be part of a larger picture, but I liked the sketch so much I decided to turn it into a full-blown project. This is little England and his self-proclaimed big brother Wessex, or the Kingdom of the West Saxons. Wessex is an OC (created by Debs1558), but he is one of my favorite Hetalia OCs ever. He was the only one who really cared about England while the little guy was growing up, aside from England’s mother, Britannia.
I first heard this song following a link from one of Ellinor87’s sketches of Germany and Prussia, and immediately liked it. When I was sketching this pic, it jumped into my head, and immediately became the theme for this picture. I think it fits quite well.
