Description Stippling: killing off brain cells one dot at a time. This is a weird, Christmas themed pic that I just did for no apparent reason. (notice the spiderweb-like snowflake?) I did this one completely in marker; no colored pencils.

I drew this whole thing with marker; mostly black markers, but also with blue markers (to make the other colors). I did the shading by using tiny markers to draw a bunch of little dots. It took a heck of a long time. ^^

Yep. All of my colored drawings take a long time to do (even some of the non-colored ones). It always takes time to color neatly with colored pencils (or with markers, for that matter).

Yep; I drew it with a Sharpie, two colored markers (in two different shades of blue), and one fine-point marker for shading.

Cool! It looks dark and mysterious, and the stippled shading gives a wicked effect.
It must be hard work. Once, my class chose to do Pointillism for art and we had to colour some sceneries all in dots, and we turned into zombies. I admire you
