I take it you used either photoshop or illustrator to make the spline of your logo and used an extrude nurb to make it 3D in cinema huh? or did you make the spline in cinema?

yeah in photoshop, im not good at making splines in c4d, its really up to you, if you know how to make vector art or use PS's or Illustrator's Pen Tool, then use that, if not, then just use c4d's spline creation tools.

composite tag, that is if you are using cinema 4d.
Make a Background Object(actual name, except the object word), then make a Floor obeject, then drop the floor into/under the background object, then right click on background and goto cinema 4d tags, next click on composite tag, now in the tags properties, check on compositing background, now make a new material and in the color make it 100% brightness(NOT LUMINANCE, JUST THE COLOR, DONT ENABLE LUMINANCE!!!!) and drag and drop that material onto the background object, make sure the type is Frontal and not anything else(ie: UVW, Shrink wrap, Cubic, Flat, etc). and just add an object on the floor and a light and enable shadows and render. and there ya go.

Cool, 2d looks better though. Dunno why, but in my experience logos rarely translate well into 3d.
