i made this in about an hour last night bc i was so hype to get this design drawn out, i can't even remember the last time i made an oc, but this is Sunny! she's obvs a scarecrow, and she actually just kinda wants to make friends with the birds but as it turns out being sentient makes her really good at her job.
obviously since i literally came up with the idea of her last night i'm still tweaking her design in my head and fleshing out her lore, but i've got this idea that she was brought to life by a witch who specializes in nature/plant based craft and started a farm. in her old age the witch began realizing she needed some extra hands around the farm and thus Sunny was born. being a scarecrow is great for the fact that Sunny doesn't really need to eat or sleep, but despite her almost boundless energy the witch insists she not overexert herself lest her body falls apart. i'll defs add to it more, maybe update Sunny's design as her body upgrades from old hand-me-downs and such.
some interesting things to note are that her hair is the head of an old mop, her teeth look yellow bc they're actually made up of dried whole corn kernels, and since the only kind of gloves the witch had at her disposal were mittens, Sunny doesn't exactly have fingers at the moment, but she makes do.
