Speed Paint - www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJvhCx…omg guys this was so fun. I got to draw in all of my favorite mediums. Although some of them are a bit obscure lol. Especially the third one. If you know what it is I will be your best friend lol.
So to talk about it a bit, my goal was to get down the style, line weight, and shading of the original art, and I think I did pretty well, Im actually shocked at how well it turned out lol. I think my favorite one is the Ghibli one, its so close to the original style ;v;
I also wanted to stay away from mainstream ones that were done such as PPG and current cartoons. I guess you could say Ghibli and Zim are one of the mainstream ones but they hold a special place in my heart so whatever lol. I think the hardest to replicate was the Okami one and the Kemono Friends one. Mostly because they are more on the 3D style of art so I had to look up concept art and it was a mish mash of different things.
Also! As you know this is "me" or my persona. And I do draw her with glasses. However, because of the styles I chose there were not a lot of glasses references, for example I dont think anyone in Okami, Kemono or Gorillaz wears glasses. So to make my life easier and not slap an uncoordinated thing on the face I decided to leave them out lol. Besides I feel as though it would have taken away from the face shapes.
I would really recommend doing this challenge! Its really fun~

What is the style you used in-between Ghibli and Cardcaptor? Also I would like to say I LOVE the way you did the Okami syle, it almost looks like a character you would see in the game!

I like this. I want to try this myself with sprite styles. I might do someone like Yukari Yakumo or Nue Houjuu from Touhou or Brown Bear from Kemono Friends. I'm doing something else now, so I'll do it when I have time.
The styles I'll do are: Touhou (PC-98 (Conversation and Danmaku Sprite in HRoP and LLS/MS Style), Windows (Danmaku Sprite), IaMP/SWR/Soku, HM/ULiL), Pokémon, Zelda (ALttP, Link's Awakening/Oracle, Minish Cap), Mario (Super Mario Bros 1, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World), Sonic and Mega Man (Mega Man NES, Mega Man X).

I actually referenced the fox character from the show for the ears! tbh I used to draw my persona with cat ears all the time when I was younger hehe.
I love foxes a lot, especially fennec foxes <3

ikr this is why in Pokemon X we pick fennekin while in 7th generation we pick popplio cause water and fairy is op.

Oh man I love CCS, its just about the only other thing I try to collect besides Pokemon lol. I have the entire series on DVD and both movies. Its one of, if not my favorite anime.
