It's something really different from what I usually do. It was one of those moments when you see something and you feel like you have to photograph it...everything was lit up by the setting sun. For a few minutes a simple tree and leaves on the ground just looked so otherworldly and magical, I can't describe it.
It was a moment when I felt in total awe of nature, and for a second I felt like even if I spent my whole life taking photos and had the best possible equipment, I still wouldn't be able to capture how amazing nature is...feels like a milestone

I especially like how the reddy-yellow light from one corner fades to shaded bluey-green grass in the opposite corner. Gorgeous!

This almost reminds me of a fractal. Well, it is actually. A real fractal (fractals are used to describe topography, among other things, of the earth).
