  { A B O U T }Personality
              Nora's personality can only be described as odd. She has many weird habits as a result of her always hanging around a bunch a ghost Pokemon her whole life - basically all her grandparent's friends. To amuse herself, she may start talking to herself, or to the telescope she's currently using, or maybe to someone who she just happened to be next to, or even to her staff which she claims contains Pokemon souls to mess with people - please don't take her seriously. This of course, she has earned her a few concern stares on more than few occassions, but she doesn't care and continues doing whatever she wants since being herself makes her happy. Another peculiar habit she does is that she occasionally talks in third person. To this day, nobody knows why shes swtiches from first person to third person - half the time she doesn't realize she is doing it in the first place - if you don't like it, please tell her to stop or simply just go with it.

              Nora also enjoys talking to people and generally just being around around them - a bit of a social butterfly if you ask me. However, if she is in a big group of people she becomes a little withdrawn since she isn't a huge fan of large crowds. This doesn't mean she is anitsocial, she just finds large crowds to be overwhelming as times since so many people are trying to talk at once. So if she happens to be in a large group, she tends to stand by the sidelines and watch from afar - maybe making a comment here and there. Nora is much more talkative when its comes to one on one or maybe if she is in a small group of people especially when she starts talking about something she's interested about such a scary stories, astronomy, etc. She will ramble on and on making it seem like she will never stop talking. However, as soon as the conversation goes "off" and she starts to feel uncomfortable she will quickly flee the scene - she can't handle awkward situations very well.

              Nora can also be a bit absentminded - she is usually daydreaming of the night sky or one of other passions making her unaware of her surroundings causing her to run into people or things. At night though, she is completely aware of everything around her, just for some reason, daytime makes her a bit spacey. Nora also has no sesne of personal space. She will get really close to you when she talks to you and can be a bit touchy - not in a preverted way unless you want it to be //SLAPPED. For example, if she likes your hair, she may come up to you and touch it to see if its a soft without asking you. Yet again, if you get uncomfortable with her actions PLEASE tell her, she just kinda does things without thinking. Besides these odd habits, Nora is an extremely intelligent person who is also generally a sweet person who doesn't mind helping people in need or being shoulder to cry on - you just have to get past all her strange behaviors. ; v ;

Background
Nora's story is not a particularly interesting as one would be led to believe due to her unquie personality; you could say she grew up in a typical household with her grandparents in Tech. Though her story doesn't begin in Tech.. When she was just a little Litwick, she used to live in Cove with her father. Unforunately it was just her and her dad in the beginning since her mother left their family a few years after Nora was born. This bothered Nora since she never knew why she left, but her father refused to talk about it. So of course, she buried her curiosity. Though that was the least of her problems.. After her mother left, her dad submerged himself in his work at the observatory. This resulted in Nora being left alone at their house quite often with nothing to do except to wait for him to return home. This caused Nora to feel lonely all the time, but she didn't mind since she could still be with her dad. However; this lifestyle didn't last long when her grandparents found out about their situation. They knew Nora deserved better and wanted to give her a better life, so they offered to take her in so her father could focus on work. This of course made Nora sad since she didn't want to leave her father, but he reassured her that he would visit her as much as he could. So at the end, she left with her grandparents to live in Tech. As years went by, Nora grew to love living with her grandparents since they made her childhood so amazing.

              Living with her grandparents was an experience - I mean living with lively ghost Pokemon is certainly different. Whether it was scary stories at bedtime or ghostly pranks during the day, her grandparents always made everyday fun. Nora especially grew close to her grandmother and her work as a Priestess. As a little Litwick, she used to go to the shrine with her to help her grandmother take care of the Tech Shrine such as planting flowers, removing weeds, and so on. But what really interest Nora was her grandmother's candles for her passing ceremonies. Her grandmother used to make beautiful, detailed candles for the dead - each candle was used to light a path for the deceased Pokemon soul. Although her grandmother held funerals, something about the way she handled it had such a calming effect on everybody causing people feel at peace. Nora, of course, admired her for it and decided to follow in her grandmother's steps. But as she grew older, she developed a new interest - stars. When she would go to the shrine at night with her grandmother, she would have a clear view of the night sky. The dark sky would be completely covered in tiny little lights, it was such a beautiful sight that Nora couldn't help but stare in awe. What started out as a simply hobby turned into a new chapter in Nora's life. Ever single night, Nora would look at the night sky and map out the constellations in her notebook and when her would father would visit her, she would show him everything she found. He was glad that she took an interest in his work and he would tell her everything about space which only made Nora love space even more.

As soon as she envoled into a Lampent it was time for Nora to decide on a career path, but she was soon stumped on what to do with her life. She debated for weeks on whether to become a priestess like her grandmother or an astronomer like her father - this was one of the most difficult decisions Nora had to make since she enjoyed both jobs. If she became a priestess, she would continue her grandmother's work on candles though her love for the stars made her reconsidered her choice. At the end she eventually decided to become an astronomer like her father due to her passion for the stars. So when she turned 16, she began to focus her studies at school in hopes she will good enough to become an astronomer and work with some of the well respected Pokemon in Tech - especially the Area Master. She studied nonstop and at the end all her hard work was paid off when she finally became an astronomer. Nora now enjoys a mostly quiet life in the Tech area, living in a small apartment near the Scientorium and down the street from her grandparents. You will find this girl either looking at the sky in random places around Tech, busy with one of her hobbies, or at her grandparent's telling ghost stories while eating cake and drinking tea.

  ☆ Besides her love for the stars, she also has a love for scary things - haunted houses, horror films, you name it! Her grandparents used to tell her scary stories as a child, so she is used to them. As of now, she has quite a collection of horror stories in her apartment - she is very proud of it.
☆ Nora's usual outfit kinda looks like a witch. Why you ask? This is probably because her grandmother used to tell her scary stories about witches. So when she grew up, she unconsciously bought clothes similar to a witch's. The only problem with this is that kids want to play with her and her hat.
                      ☆ She has the ability to levitate and the things around her. However she can only make things levitate for a certain amount of time - requires too much energy.
☆ Nora's father visits her occasionally, but he is always in Cove or traveling for his work.
☆ Her grandmother taught her how to make candles when she was young, so she has quite a bit candles around her house. She occasionally makes candles for fun.
☆ She can't be alone for long periods of time - she starts to feel lonely.
                      ☆ Nora tends to stare in general whether she is talking to you or not. So expect a lot of awkward eye contact.
