Description (I am in fact alive, for all those concerned) Sawyer, the first of many, of Macavity's children, you've been warned. They will not all be uploaded tonight, unfortunately.

(NJJ) Though Sawyer is not Macavity's first born kitten, he is Macavity's first publicly acknowledged kitten and first born son.

Sawyer is the first born of twins, from Macavity and Griddlebone. Despite looking more like his mother, Macavity still had high hopes for Sawyer and had him whisked away from others his own age and his own twin sister in order to train and groom him to eventually become his heir. The isolation hampered Sawyer's training. He soon grew to dread his training/grooming, and it was becoming clear to Macavity as well, that Sawyer would never live up to the ginger tom's expectations. On top of all that, Viola grew to hate and despise Sawyer for a birthright she thought should be hers, and for mistaking his training/grooming as favoritism on Macavity's part. She started feuding with Sawyer, little things at first, but as the two grew up, and got older, she became more deceitful and vindictive. After some much needed advice and consoling from Rumpus, Sawyer fled the overbearing rule of Macavity and Tatsumi, and his sister's bloodthirsty revenge and joined Rumpus at the junkyard. He has some difficulties fitting in at first, due to being a son of Macavity, but he is sort of looked after and 'adopted' by Rumpus (who also by that time was the legal guardian of Lareenatash; a half sister of Sawyer).

I have a lot of plots in store for Sawyer, too many to type them all in my notes here. But he, Lareenatash and his sister Viola have all been born in story, I just haven't had the opportunity to type up the chapters I have written in my notebooks yet.

I'm glad Rumpus takes him in poor guy being isolated from others his age like that and having his sister despise him, even though it's not exactly her fault. Macavity sems to be good at raising troubled kittens with issues, he isn't exactly father of the year material.

No...Macavity certainly is not father of the year. Though in a way, it's not exactly his fault either, least the way I've got the story set up. But yes, I figure it was only right that Macavity's kittens be troubled or cause trouble. xD

But I adore Sawyer, despite his troubled upbringing, coming to the yard and being under the guidance of Rumpus definitely helps Sawyer become a better tom, that's for sure. :3

And even though I have a lot of my kittens with troubled upbringings, I do plan to set it up for them ...err most of them to overcome it and become stronger and better because of it.
