Just another shot of one of our hammerheads. They're so cute!The reason their faces are so stretched is so there is more room for electricity-sensing organs called ampulae of lorenzini. All sharks have them on their noses, but since hammerheads have such huge faces they have an incredible amount of them. This allows them to sense prey hidden in the sand.
