"This is it. A lot of dreams died to get us here, and we can't let it be for nothing." - Lightning, Final Fantasy XIIII had such a great time at the Sakura Matsuri in DC! I managed to go with a small group of friends and we all cosplayed FFXIII. We met up with *MDosik and ended up shooting for most of the day, all the while having a blast! Michael is really great to work with, and I thank him so much for taking the time out of his schedule to come to DC and make beautiful photos with all of us!
This shot happened when my Hope and Vanille had the idea of throwing the petals like the rose petals that show up when Lightning either summons or attacks with Odin. Who knew that this amazing image would show! This is easily my favorite Lightning photo to date. Thank you so much to everyone who was able to make this possible!

This happened through the efforts of not only the photographer and one other girl for the lighting, but also two other girls that helped with the pedals. XD It took a lot of effort from other people and a lot of patience with getting the lighting just right, all I did was pose for a long time!
I'm sure you'll get one in the future if you continue to shoot with your Lightning! Things happen in the right place at the right time! c:
