I was wondering, how do you go about painting something like this which has spots of pixel level detail and also more digital paint areas. Whatever you're doing, it looks really cool.
Also I heard you used to play picture wars, true?

The pixel level detail you speak of is simply pixel level editing, getting really close and editing the edges and surfaces by only a couple pixels, sorta makes it like pseudo pixel-art. Thanks for commenting. I used to play MS Paint wars on Facepunch forums.
