Don't worry Sega could revive forgotten franchises and should be more recognized as Sonic.
Just look at Nintendo they have recognized characters like Kirby, Pikachu, Callie, Marie, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Toad, Princess Daisy, Princess Rosalina, Wario, Waluigi, Princess Shokora, Captain Syrup, Bowser and Koopalings, Birdo, Mona Pizza, Ashley, Young Cricket, King Dedede, Samus Aran, Princess Zelda, Link, Krystal Fox and more.

I love Sonic but I have to say that he deserved it for hogging the spotlight for other franchises. If SEGA has a problem with release dates in Sonic, why not delay the games and focus on other franchises. Actually its not Sonic's fault, its SEGA. Also why SEGA focuses on Sonic's character so much and pushes all other Sonic characters to the background? Again SEGA's fault, not Sonic. Poor Sonic.

Hey I'm thinking about doing a fanfic where Sonic travels to other SEGA worlds and fights evil with these guys! But I dunno about sending Sonic to the worlds of "House of the Dead" or "Eternal Champions". He would do fine fighting evil with Nights, the Altered Beast, and the Golden Axe team.

I don't think sega really owns Toejam and earl... I think they collaborated with the creator (who formed a company after the genesis era) to make that Xbox game..I hear it was pretty crap.
