Description
After fate decided that they be Reunited in Bondage , Detective Erick and Kirsten (still not knowing each other's names) was taken down to an isolated room by their kidnappers. The two were then tightly chair tied and was told their fate: that they be left to get blown up by a ticking bomb! Thier muffled screams and pleas went unanswered as the bomb was set to five minutes and the crooks left, confident that they had rid themselves of two meddling snoops. The two vigously struggled with all they had trying to get free in time, but the ropes held. As the timer reached two minutes and thirty seconds, despair started to fill their hearts as the possibility that this was the end of them drew closer to reality. Still, Erick persisted. He wasn't about to give up and accept defeat, not without knowing this beautiful girl's name and getting to know her. As the timer reached one minute, Erick's persistance paid off and he broke free of his bonds in time to disarm the bomb and save both of their lives.

Afterwards, Erick ungagged himself and removed the rest of his bonds. He approached Kirsten and as careful as he could, removed the tape and stuffing gagging her. "I'm Erick." He simply said with a smile.

Kirsten looked up and smiled at him. It was a smile of happiness and relief . . . for multiple reasons. "I'm Kirsten." There was a slight pause before she followed with "hi." That caused the two to laugh.

"How bout I get you out of here and then take you out for dinner. Get to know each other a little. How does that sound?" he asked after the laughter subsided.

Kirsten's evening was filled with danger and peril, but it was about to end in happiness and joy as she would finally get to know the guy that's been on her mind for months. Her smile grew wide as she answered.

"I'd like that."
