The pair came trotting over the dark sand. They had arrived at the dead lands by boat earlier in the morning and decided from there so set out on their own.
The waves came crashing loudly onto the shore. The land was barren, only a few dry plants poked up here and there. Animals also seemed to be missing, only a few seagulls could be seen crossing the horizon.

Evelyn stopped up and looked over the ocean, taking in the sight. The land was barren and yet, it seemed full of possibilities. There would for sure be things to see and things to discover. There had after all not been any contact from the outside here.
Hekan had also came to a halt, standing beside her companion. The journey had been tiresome, and the lonely shore felt welcoming. She enjoyed it here, everything was at peace… at least for now.
