Hi there, do you mind if I ask how this was achieved? I recently listened to a podcast where a lady who does large amounts of handcrafted ceramics did an interview and she was talking about how typically designs on ceramics and pottery are like decal/adhesives (like, commercial ceramics that you'd find in a shop) - but these ones are painted? Thats cool, do you need to use a special sort of paint so they stand up to washing?
Have a good day,Β
Annalee

Hi Annalee - yes, as You correctly noticed, those are painted. There's vide variety of paints You can use for that purpose - personally I prefer Decorfin Porcelain series from Royal Talens. They require 1h baking in standard oven to fully harden and after that they withstand hand-washing without problems. I do not recommend putting them in the dishwasher though.
