It feels really weird to be done with school now, and sort of bitter sweet. On one hand, I don’t have to worry about exams and essays anymore. But on the other hand, I’ll miss taking those classes I genuinely enjoyed.

Now that school is done, I’ll be looking for either a job, internship, or apprenticeship. On top of that, I’ll continue to build up my portfolio, and make stuff to sell at events and conventions (like an artist’s table). There’s a couple other things I’d like to do to, like finally starting a lil comic/short story, or continuing to get better at stop motion animatiton. However, I feel like I need to improve skills in those areas first (like storytelling for making comics, and puppet fabrication for stop motion animation).

If all else fails and I’m not able to get a job right away in my field, there’s a small chance I’ll attend Vancouver Animation School to pursue a concept art degree. They have high hiring rates, and their program is pretty good.
