People! Y U keep lookin' at WIPs? There's a finished version render already!Getting there slowly.
Materials have been tuned further.
Some textures added, decals attempted. Still some small mistakes in these, incorrect intensities/mirroring...
Geometry done. I may add few items, esp. I'm thinking of a red dot sight.
I'm unsure about the iron sights sizing, should they be bigger, smaller?...

Where did you get these camo patterns?? I think I've fallen in love with this almost reptilian geometry over a softly colored background. This is the sort of camo pattern I think some people would love on their rifles. Myself included XD
The acrylic stand is a nice touch as well, actually. It doesn't break the realism of the image as a whole.

Just like you, I've fallen in love with this kind of pattern the moment I saw it (quite some time ago). I've decided to see if this can be replicated in Blender - and bingo, it can be! I've used the options provided by the procedural texturing system, so this is not hand-painted. 10 different patterns combined for each camo type, so not a small thing.
There are certain limitations in this, so my outcomes aren't identical. I think I've captured the 'spirit' in any case.
Funny how you never noticed, as I kept using them for bikinis in my pics (in more crazy colors) since times immemorial.
Aren't the rifles to the sides too brightly-colored, from the practical standpoint?

Haha, you're right! There were some doubts about my skills in 'non-furry' area - so this is to show them all!
