This was comissioned by Cimeara of Gaia for a freind, who I hope likes it. The character originaly was described with quite a lot of gear, but anyone who's ever tried to draw chainmail I think will sympathize with me NOT drawing on BLACK chainmail on a BLACK Character (Drow) who was wearing a BLACK cape and BLACK Gloves. Especially not while working with pencil. *dies* Anyhow. I think it came out darn well anyhow...Related content

very cool style, the term Drow sounds familure, have you ever read the series of The Legend of Drizzt, very good book its about Drow Elves...maby you got it from there?

Yup, Drow are an increasingly popular species in the D and D and D20 system. I liked the CONCEPT of Drizzt far better than I liked the books however. I find it hard to beleive psychologicly that he could be so...angsty. Xp. He'd have been a lot more satisfying if he was a good guy with a touch of ruthless, just from the way he grew up.

i've only read book one and half of book two, they are pretty much the only books i can read, i dont like reading that much. i can see what your saying that he should have some ruthlessness, and i kind of agree there'd probably be more fighting in the story but i thought it was a good move not killing off his sister in the second book Exile. that way more conflict in the stroy can happen.

The authors who were doing "war of the SpiderQueen" did a really good job, if you like the Drizzt stuff at all, you'll probably *love* those.
