So I was trying to get some input on what people thought about my attempt to make a minimalist book cover for my story. Mostly I got positive responses, people seemed to really enjoy it... except one person who I knew from college but barely talk to who decided that her time had come to shine and she was going to do it by HURLING herself into my comments to tell me how terrible it was, that she couldn't identify the fox for several minutes and the green barfy lines were weird and -why was it eating an eyeball-.

None of which was what I intended, but hey, gotta admit it is COMPELLING imagery. So I made it.
