At very long last it's finished; my part of the art trade with ! The request: his FCs Sigma (an upgraded version of Sword Knight ), Omega (Meta Knight's clone) and Beta (an upgraded version of Blade Knight ) in the same style as my work "Unearthed".

My initial reaction: "Whoa dude, no that will be a bit too much and take too long time, I'll just make a line art, ok?"

However, once I was half through finishing said line art, I realized: "Eh. No, line art won't do this thing justice. At all. This needs to be fully rendered! "

And so, here it is today. Fully rendered and all. Because I'm a silly little idiot like that.

Besides, I saw this as a perfect practice opportunity before getting into the whole commissioning business; to get used to the kind of workflow and discipline that is required when making commissions, so to speak.

That said, I'm proud to announce that this is the very first time I've actually managed to take time on a just how long a piece like this would take me to finish! The result can be found under the technical specs further down in this image description! Of course, it's still slightly approximate, since there have been a few times where I've forgotten to switch on the stopwatch... But this still is a pretty good estimate of just how many hours it seems I lay down on an individual piece of work.

This one piece proved to be quite a challenge due to the rather large and specific amount of items my art-trader wanted included in this image; apart from the characters and their armor specs, there were also supposed to be two Omega Halberds , a future version of Planet Popstar, some destroyed parts of the Access Ark floating about, and this genetically engineered… thing (which is also based on a canon Kirby character––have any idea which one? ) that they find in a fissure during their expedition to the ruins of Access Ark. Now I'm aware that this might seem similar, both situation- and composition-wise, to my work "Unearthed" . That was on purpose however, since the art-trader wanted the image to be similar in both style and concept.

Anyway–– thanks for your patience, Digi, and sorry for the long, long wait. I hope the result is worth it… ^^'
